This year it kind of feels like Indiana skipped spring altogether. We’ve had 30 degree days, we’ve had 80 degree days, and about no in between. No April showers, but we got the flowers and all that. However, now it’s the end of May and it seems like it’ll never stop raining! We’ve had a storm almost every day for two weeks, I swear. However, a little rain didn’t stop Lexi and Charlie from having a super-sweet shoot with me at Deep River Park.
Charlie was definitely excited to climb up to this spot for some photos surrounded by ivy and brick, and honestly, it was a great call on his part. They look so stunning! But you could definitely see that Lexi’s favorite part was when we got back down and stopped to smell all the flowers. They’re finally blooming and it’s like wherever you walk all you smell are roses and honeysuckle and everything in between.
Regardless of where we walked, however, the best part of the shoot was seeing the way these two act with one another. They definitely poke fun at each other and give each other a hard time, but the best moments were the ones where I got to catch them smiling or laughing with each other.
