Hi there! I’m Nina, I’m a freelance photographer and graphic designer based out of Northwest Indiana, and (in case you couldn’t tell already), I love making art. I’m kind of a hippie – I love macrame, sand between my toes, glitter glue, and picking wildflowers. I have no love like that for the way it feels to watch the sun set over mountains and sand and glistening water. I also love collecting records, being tattooed, painting, and spending time with my sweet rabbit, Roy, and my sweet kitten, Ponyo. I am engaged to the most incredible man in the world, Chris, and he is a huge part of my real-life fairytale. If I could spend every day with my siblings, my parents, Chris, Roy, and Ponyo, I would be set.
I’ve had a camera glued to my hand since I was seventeen (not literally), and have been drawing and designing and imagining for far longer. My photo work ranges from large format film (for more personal projects), to digital (weddings, concerts, and the like), whereas my design projects range from cutting and pasting and scanning and tearing and gluing, to Photoshopping and drawing in Procreate and adding layers in Illustrator for hours on end.
I’ve definitely tried to have my hands in everything artistically, because I feel that the more you’ve experienced, the more you can do. If you want to join me in that, I would love to help you create new art to go along with your experiences – whether that be a set of photos from your wedding day, captured, created, and tied with a bow, or that being a t-shirt for your band to sell at your album release show. If you tell me what you want, I’ll do what I do – I’ll pull it from my brain and make it tangible for the world to see.
